In conversation with Julia Collis, Jetty Socials

Julia collis - is the founder of Jetty Socials, A New platform aimed at encouraging in person social events for mid-lifers in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, London and the surrounding areas. Julia says she is on a mission to be a “Poster woman” for embracing single life whatever your age and circumstances.

Julia says she never expected to find herself single in her late 50s. But now she has she is determined to live life to the full and not restrict her life waiting for the right partner to come along. Whilst she says she remains open to whatever life throws at her relationship wise, she is on a mission to show how rewarding and liberating single life can be with the right circumstances and the right attitude.

Tired of online dating and the “negative emotions” it can throw up she has launched a new meet up platform Jetty Socials to bring together likeminded people who want to socialise with other people through a range of recommended events.

Erika and Debbie are fascinated by how people find fulfilment in midlife and beyond. With more people living alone than ever before we wanted to know more about how to live well outside of the traditional couple relationship
