Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation £75

I’ve been on a lifelong search for the perfect foundation! I thought I was close with Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless and then along came this little beauty - Future skin from Chantecaille is a multi-award winning gorgeous foundation perfect for more mature skins. It’s not cheap but It oozes radiance and moisture, doesn’t sit in fine lines and comes in 15 shades. For my light warm skin tone Cream is one of the best matches I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough good things about this French brand that also has a clear focus on sustainability and philanthropy. The skincare is great too.

Drunk Elephant Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser £31

I try when possible to never buy anything that has the words “anti-aging” on them! There is no such thing and it feeds into a deeply unhelpful negative narrative around ageing. Instead my focus is on good hydration and something that keeps my skin in tip top condition. After months of central heating and dark days, dullness and dryness are my primary concerns. I find this brilliant rich cleansing butter especially good and it removes eye makeup too Drunk Elephant

Chanel nail polish in Rouge Noir £25

If like me shellac nail polishes are a complete no no as they destroy my already quite fragile nails - this is for you. Great quality and a polish that actually stays on - especially on your toes. This is a strong colour that is made for winter - but I love it all year round. Looks especially good with a tan Chanel

We love talking/testing anything beauty/fashion related. We love ethical brands which take the time and care to produce great products that don’t hurt anything/anybody else. ❤️
