It’s a jungle out there and religion’s job, at its best, is to help turn the jungle into a garden. - Rabbi Jonathan Romain

So says broadcaster, writer and Rabbi. As Minister of the Maidenhead Synagogue Jonathan is a well known voice of wisdom across national TV, radio and the press. He writes regularly for The Times, The Independent and The Guardian.

Whatever your faith, or non-faith, we think he has some wonderful things to say about living life well, kindness, compassion and the natural human need to belong and to be part of a community.

He is vocal on many issues including; women in faith (his wife is a Rabbi), inter-faith relationships, faith schools and is one of a handful of religious leaders who is an active campaigner for assisted dying.

His hilarious new book Confessions of a Rabbi captures his humanity and his belief that a religious leader should be less concerned with theology and God and more focussed on helping people to live a good life here and now.

A lovely, warm, human conversation as part of our Winter Wellness season.
